Evanescence SB Tutorial

Evanescence SB Tutorial

Tutorial is written for those that have basic knowledge of PSP and its inner workings.

Items Needed:

Tube of Choice

Plugins: DSB Flux: Gears

Plugins: FM Tile Tools: Collage Linear

Plugins: Funhouse: Evanescence

Ready? Let's Create!!

1. Open tube. Resize height to no more than 250 pixels. Width will self adjust.

Pick a light and medium color from your tube.

2. Duplicate (Shift D) tube. Close original.

3. Edit: Copy. Minimize.

4. New Image. 1200 X 300 pixels, transparent.

5. Selections: Select All.

Edit: Paste INTO Selection.

Selections: Select None.

6. Effects: Image Effects: Seamless Tiling.

Default Settings.

7. Effects: Plugins: DSB Flux: Gears

8. Effects: Plugins: FM Tile Tools: Collage Linear

9. Effects: Plugins: Funhouse: Evanescence

10. Layers: New Raster Layer.

Layers: Arrange: Send to Bottom.

11. Floodfill with medium color.

Adjust: Add/Remove Noise: Add Noise.

Gaussian, 20%, Monochrome checked.

Layers: Merge Visible

12. Effects: Plugins: Funhouse: Evanescence

Zoom at 140.

13. Effects: Image Effects: Seamless Tile

14. Layers: New Raster Layer.

Floodfill with light color. Bring opacity down to around

60 to 70 to make text friendly.

15. Layers: Merge Visible.

16. Maximize tube. Edit: Copy.

Close tube. We will not need it.

Edit: Paste as New Layer.

Move to far left (see image for placement).

17. Effects: 3D Effects: Inner Bevel

(if you wish)

18. Effects: 3D Effects: Drop Shadow

Repeat with -2.

19. Add text if you wish.

20. Layers: Merge Visible.

21. Add watmark and any copyright info.

22. Export as jpeg.

23. Assemble in LC and your done!!!
